Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SWU Forge ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SWU Forge is a web application for browsing Star Wars: Unlimited card data, building decks, and analyzing deck statistics. The Service allows users to search cards, construct and save decks, and share deck configurations.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of the Service require authentication via Google or Discord OAuth. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. The Service reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create through the Service, including deck configurations and sideboard lists. By sharing or publishing content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content through the Service.

5. AI-Powered Search

The Service uses AI-powered natural language search to help users find cards. Search queries are logged for quality improvement purposes. AI search access may be gated behind account approval at our discretion. Search results are generated dynamically and may vary; the Service does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated search results.

6. Intellectual Property

The original code, features, and functionality of SWU Forge are the property of its creators and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Star Wars: Unlimited, including all card names, card art, logos, and game mechanics, is the property of Fantasy Flight Games and/or The Walt Disney Company. SWU Forge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Fantasy Flight Games or The Walt Disney Company. All card data and imagery are used for informational and fan reference purposes.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Submit false or misleading information
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk without permission
• Use the Service to sell or commercially distribute deck lists or card data

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., SWUDB, Melee.gg) for deck import functionality. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SWU Forge or its creators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice prior to taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
